Like the bottom 6 options. Santorelli scares me a little because he hasn't played a full season in 4 years. If he can remain healthy, he would be a great addition |

Should come cheap so that would be a benefit. |

Those would be good upgrades. I still like the thought of Hemsky. Not sure if it could happen though. |

You mentioned letting the young kids play d, would you consider trading Martin then for a forward and then playing letang, Harrington, Despres, Dumoliun, Pouliot, Maata, Bortuzzo? Maybe add a veteran dman with the cap space (obviously that includes some how getting rid of scuderi) |

I don't think the interest is serious thankfully. |

I'm pretty progressive with my thoughts on playing the young D but I'm not in favor of moving Martin unless somebody like Ehrhoff can take over. |

That's what I figured... tho bc it is brodeur seeing him a pens jersey would look nice...
Wonder if they go after johnson from bruins... I know you did the numbers before. Would you be opposed to
Hiller

I wouldn't mind that either and I too am in favor of letting the youth play. Think Minnesota would give up Mikael Granlund for Martin? I assume we'd want more in return |

I wouldn't mind Etem from Anaheim but I dont know if that's a team Martin would accept a trade to, he does have a Limited NMC right? |

I don't see Martin returning a young, up and coming forward. Honestly, i don't know what the return for Martin would be, but don't think it will be high. His value is higher for the Pens then anywhere else. |

Ah gotcha, thank you for that. I wasn't sure what his value would be but if he's already said he would test free agency then I'd look to capitalize on a trade sooner rather than later. |

He would be in demand. Penguins would get something nice in return. |

I agree with this. I don't see him returning a kings ransom. One year left. 33 years old. Not the sturdiest of players. I think he'd return a valuable asset or two, but not a very good young prospect. |
